My colleagues used to take the mick out of me for going here so much but it’s a really good store for all things housey — cleaning products, hardware, tools, ironing boards, bins, cables, plugs etc.
But think about what it is you need to buy before heading there — i’ve ended up walking around Central London with a mop and bucket.
In the middle of winter i needed some of those blue blocks you put in the freezer then in cool bags and although they didn’t have any out, they went and got some from out back for me.
I also just give them my blown bulbs and they find the same ones for me easily. It’s not that i’m lazy — i’m just useless at getting the right bulbs!
The prices are reasonable and there’s usually a pricey and cheapo version of everything so you don’t have to dint the budget too much — and let’s face it — there’s better things to spend your money on in Covent Garden that cleaning products!
