Very friendly athmosphere with nice jazz music playing in the background. My pasta dish was yummy and comforting but the starter disappointed me — I had a caprese and the mozzarella was delicious but the tomatoes were refrigerator cold and there were some black olives on the side that didn’t taste much, like the cheapest one you can buy in a store. It’s a really nice place though, and the pasta portions are big and affordable.

This place is great. A Notting Hill gem. It is casual and affordable and the food is wonderful. We had great service as well. It is nice to go someplace cute, and delish in London that does not cost a fortune. Me and my husband had a very nice date night here.

Fantastic place for great Italian food without massive prices to match. A casual sort of Parisian Bistro atmosphere, not a great deal of pretense, but the food and service was great. Portions are generously sized, so think twice before ordering both a starter and a main if you are not too hungry.
Very impressed by the food, wine was a solid complement and the desert was strong. Even with all the great restaurants in London, it is tough to find a reason not to go back here.

We came on a stormy evening a few weeks ago and this tiny restaurant was the perfect spot. Small, cozy, and warm with great food. Even though we had a reservation we had to wait a bit but it was worth the wait. We tried the fish and a pasta dish and both were great! The fish was definitely not a first date menu item as there were a ton of bones to pull out but the flavors were spot on.
Prices were very reasonable and service was great.

Huge fan! Though there are tons of excellent Italian restaurants in Notting Hill, this place holds its own as a casual, inexpensive and romantic eatery. I went for the first time last night for a birthday party and it was perfect — thinking about going back tonight!
The bread basket with herb butter is to die for — probably had a full basket to myself… there are plenty of options for food; about 20 pasta dishes, 15 starters, and pizza, fish, chicken, meat for mains. There is something for everyone!
Highly recommended, and GREAT value for your rmoney — keep this in your back pocket for a last-​minute dinner solution that wont fail to impress.

I do love this place for the food, I have been many times and it’s never disappointed.
My only negative in the past has been that the service wasn’t quite up to scratch — mainly being a little too relaxed e.g. a waitress that forgets to come back and ask if you want/​need anything else. I’ve often forgiven this on the quality of the food.
However I visited again a couple of weeks ago and we had perfect service and a pasta dish to die for (Chicken and Porcini mushrooms). Sweets were great too.
This place really is a local gem so it’s somewhere where you must book in advance or risk being disappointed.
Would highly recommend.
