This would be described in the mid 1970s as a modern establishment but time has moved on somewhat !! The outside décor needs paint and the doors need varnishing or better still replacing also parking is limited to 6 cars! On entering the hotel i was immediatly in a time warp, the carpet moved beneath my feet and took me to reception which was a drab varnish followed by a powerfull granny smell. The bar remains redundant as the bottles gather dust which is quite apparant from twenty feet away. The double twin room consisted of random pictures suspended to the wall by coat hooks and the carpet a lovely dark 70s green. The head boards were lent against a thin wall of tissue paper which knocked throughout the night, but the sheets and pillow cases were clean, but alas that was discouraged by the throw over which is beyond description and i threw to the end of the bed asap !!! Good points… shower was of good force, hot and remarkably clean. Breakfast was an assortment of cereal with a stewed coffee or juice then followed by a 5 piece choice of usual fried stuff and plenty of white toast to help wash it down(Bfast was above average)
