I loved my experience at Richmond. We were set in the heart of Kensington and had outstanding faculty. My professor for sociology of subcultures was the foremost biographer(and friend) of Vivienne Westwood/Kate Moss/Malcolm McLaren, etc.; professor for social analysis of modern Britain was an EU consultant that would visit candidate memberstates to analyze the economic parabola to see if their country would be able to match the joining criteria, and also taught at LSE… they really got some good people to sign on. I wish I could say the same for the school I’m doing my MA at!!! The only negative I had with them, was the cafeteria food, and anyone that’s been to Richmond can attest to this…(pasta with vegetarian sauce will give you nightmares), but you’re in an area with endless restaurants so just eat out! They did a really good job of organizing subsidized activities for the students to do, so daytrips and things in the city would be fairly affordable to those attending. I’d recommend AIFS/Richmond in a heartbeat. Was a bit pricey, but well worth the experience.
