Rifling through the rails at Rellik reminds me of going through my mum’s wardrobe when I was a little girl. There are some amazing outfits ranging from 1970s Halston dresses, 1980s Vivienne Westwood dresses, sequinned tops from the disco era and lots more. The shop is quite compact so it’s quite easy to go through each rail and marvel at the fashion gems. The accessories are also spectacular– you will definately find a one-off bag here that will leave others green with envy. Prices vary from reasonable to quite pricy but it’s worth remembering that you are buying a one-off piece of fashion. British fashion icon Kate Moss is a regular at Rellick and it’s easy to see why. Not being in the heart of Portobello market Rellick is little off the beaten track but it’s certainly worth looking for. If it’s goood enough for cool Kate it’s definately good enough for me.

I have to say I don’t agree with sar23s, apart from the questionable location. However, what isn’t mentioned in the previous review is that most of the items sold here are designer vintage pieces including a hugh amount of vintage Vivienne Westwood which is all pulled out every Saturday. So if it’s Westwood you’re interested in, wait to go on that day. Maybe compaired to other vintage emporiums this is more expensive but it’s simply down to the fact that you are buying high quality, original clothing.

This is a great vintage shop near Westbourne Park. A lot of celebs come here like Sienna Miller. They carefully select their stuff and have pucci, Vivienna Westwood and Ungaro. On the expensive side for vintage but lovely range of jewellery. Closed sun and mon.

This is just another addition to the overpriced ‘vintage’ boutiques in the area. It seems to have been a novelty idea to plonk a little, ‘just darling’ shop in the middle of one of the worst and most notorious tower blocks in London. Despite having some beautiful items of clothing in there, it is definitely not worth the high prices.
