The old Markham Inn, always crowded, very lively bar scene, solid but nothing fancy menu has been retired and replaced with an empty, unattractively decorated, deserted (did I say empty) follow-​up with a menu that needs refinement. Why did they do this!!! Makes no sense. Used to eat/​drink at the old Markham Inn a few times a week. It had a very nice neighborhood feel and even a family feel at Sunday lunch. Markham Inn: Big boisterous tables, and sometimes had to resort to a stool at the bar overlooking the kitchen. Red House: you could seat a party of 20 on a moments notice now. I give it six months top.
