This is an upscale boutique in Wimbledon village. It pretty much has the same sort of brands as Selfridges or Harvey Nicholls but the space is a good deal more intimate and there are no escalators. The buyers in these kinds of places tend to pick up some of the more interesting items or ranges from a certain designer and you’re probably more likely to find something different here. And when it comes to designers we’re talking about anything from For All Mankind and Sass & Bide to Junk Food and BA&SH. None of it comes cheap but you wouldn’t expect it to and if you’re prepared for a bit of a financial layout this place is a great personal shopping experience where if you pop in now and again you’re likely to actually get to the know people working there — definitely unlike any of the big chains/department stores. Talking of which, why is that the more generic the place, the more likely the staff are to where name badges?
