Queens Hotel

The absolute most horrendous hotel I’ve ever been to. No wifi in the rooms, they only gave us one key for two people, it’s smelly, dirty and sketchy, the staff doesn’t care about you, there are gangs of creepy men sitting around smoking and gambling (not a lot of women …) I could go on and on. I’m appalled. I only gave them one star because I had to, if there was an option to give no stars I would have done that.

Also das war dann mal nichts! Von außen schon dachten wir, das kann nicht gut gehen. Die Eingangstür war kaputt und nur schwer zu öffnen. Der Empfangsbereich war sehr klein und meines Erachtens nach für die Größe des Hotel viel zu klein! 2 Inder mit relativ schwer zu verstehendem English erwarteten uns. Soweit so gut. Bis wir unser Zimmer gefunden hatten, vergingen weiter 10 Minuten. Im Zimmer dann waren wir etwas geschockt. Sehr dunkel, sehr sehr kleines Bad, Die Duschbrause funktionierte kaum und ließ nur sehr wenig Wasser ausströmen, bis das Wasser war wurden, dauerte es viel zu lange. Ein Fenster war nur sporadisch vorhanden, klein und schlecht zu erreichen, die eine Hälfte ließ sich garnicht öffenen. Die Lage und der Preis sind das einzige, was OK war. Das Kontinentale Frühstück hat seinen NAmen nicht verdient, Kaffee aus Instantpulver, abgepackte Marmelade usw. Nich zu empfehlendes Hotel!

More like ‘The Ratz’ rather than ‘The Ritz’, this has to be arguably MY WORST EVER EXPERIENCE IN A HOTEL. Looking at the hotel from the outside, it looks very nice and cosy in a very good area for pubs, restaurants, shops and public transport links and at £38 for the night, I thought that I was in for a real bargain, don’t be fooled by what you see on the outside because that’s where the story ends.
The staff were dressed smart but not very pleasant, they seemed to be happy once money had exchanged hands. You need a card to get in & out of the room, which I found complicated, hence going through a filthy door. Inside the room, were 3 beds all scrunched together, there was very little space in the room to move, the beverage facilities were poor, cheap sachets of this & that near the kettle and NO soap in the en-​suite bathroom, the room itself was cold and the blankets on the bed were very thin, the REAL reason why I had a good nights sleep was due to the large quantities of alcohol that I had consumed that day!
It gets worse, if my room (no.110) was bad, my brothers room (no.107) was far worse. There was no remote control for the TV and there were wires hanging out of the TV, what if a small child was staying in that room and caught themselves on it? the child could’ve been be strangled or even electrocuted? the bathroom was filthy, I could’ve shown the staff the evidence on a couple of finger tips, this is totally unacceptable!
The breakfast area was a complete joke on the 5^th floor overlooking the nice views of London, the furniture was tacky, the décor was scruffy & well out of date, the doors were filthy and had cracks in them and we get to get a drink of tea & coffee out of a machine, we decided against having breakfast and went to a café somewhere else, it was that bad, I am NOT eating my breakfast in a filthy hotel, does anyone in this hotel actually care?
IT WAS QUANTITY OVER QUALITY AND THE BEST PART ABOUT THE HOTEL WAS THE DOOR GOING OUT OF IT!

Thankyou, so much to my wife for booking in to this hotel. Divorce proceedings are now in place. From the outside the place looks quite impressive although redecoration and repairs are required. The reception staff seemed pleasant and check in was efficient. Alas on finding our room for three people (My soon to b ex-​wife, myself and our daughter) we were directed to freddys kruegers room in the basement. (even a little colder than freddys) there were sufficient beds even though like sleeping on granite, a tv the size of a postage stamp with really poor reception, a kettle, tea, coffee, milk, but only one cup and saucer. Mini me would have trouble using the bathroom it was so small, although the shower was nice.
We contacted reception regarding extra cups and pillows but alas none arrived. The floor above was frequented by Nellie the elephant and the tarvelling circus by the sound of it.(nice acoustics)
Having spent the night like goldilocks trying to find a comfortable bed, we made our way to breakfast, climbing six flights of stairs as lift not working, to find continental breakfast ha ha (Cornflakes or coco pops), tea, coffee, juice, and toast with wait for it !!!(jam)
Upon leaving we handed the room key to a receptionist whom we noticed never asked us if we enjoyed our stay (wonder why). If you think this review is bad, you should here what other people were saying there.
Will forward any legal costs for the divorce on to the hotel. Enjoy your stay.

Nice rates, comfortable rooms (I got 4^th floor). Maybe the water pressure in bathroom is low but honestly the hotel was very pleasant and there wasn’t anything annoying. Location is nice despite of Longin distance from the centre. Near hotel there was fast rail line (Zone 4) and quite frequent bus. I really enjoyed staying there and I really don’t understand where all bad opinions come from…

Pour le prix payé, la qualité du service et le confort des chambres est très bien. Personnel aidant et sympathique.

This hotel is in bad condition I spent couple days there and my experience was horific the hotel is in condition. The room are not that impressive and they are poorly kept there’s cracks in the Walls the windows are single layered and patched up with old wood they can’t even open. If your looking for a bad cheap hotel that’s crap this is the one

Not happy with this hotel. We were traveling form the US and called 24 hours in advance to cancel the reservation they said their policy was 48 hours. NO exceptions. The room was the size of a closet and even though it was clean, it smelled musty. i called asking for directions on how to get to the hotel from the airport and the gentleman rushed through giving me the direction and hung up on me. He was very rude! It was not much better when we checked in either. The rate was not that great for what you get. Overall, I WOULD NOT recommend this place.

This hotel is the best, located in crystal palace south london, this is the best hotel in london. Not only is it a stylish hotel, the rates are excellent and I personally don’t know a hotel that can beat the price. The staff are friendly, there are hundreds of rooms from single, double, triple, family and suites, it is suitable for everyone!!! The rooms are very clean, well equipped with neccessities, with clean bed, draws, closet, mirror, large windows, tv, phone, ensuite bathroom and spacious. The staff are available to help all hours and room service ois available, the hotel has a pool table, bar and restaurant. What can beat this and for an affordable rate!!! EXCELLENT
