Really really like this place!
It is quite a small restaurant with some outdoor space (although on a main road). So book in advance.
The interior décor is very stylish a real mix of old and new!
The food is absolutely delicious the steak is cooked to perfection!
The staff are attentive without being overbearing.
Would recommend this place for a first date, catch up with a friend or a family gathering!

Small pub that doesn’t have lots of beers and can be a little cold.
So why four stars? Simple.
The excellent service — as good as you’ll find anywhere in the area. Staff are friendly and helpful and make sure you’re not waiting long. They make it a pleasure to go to the British Queen, and I probably should go more often than I do.
They also do some excellent food. Last time I was there I had the duck and hoisin pizza. Can’t recommend it enough. Very tasty. Nice idea combining Pizza and Chinese.

A really nice pub worth the 5 minute detour from the high street. They have a pizza oven and do made-​to-​order pizzas (2−4−1 on Tuesdays!) which are on a par if not better than Pizza Express. They also lay on Entertainment on different nights. Prices are extremely reasonable. Its aimed at a ‘younger’ crowd and by that I mean 20 and 30 somethings not teens ;-) Lovely modern décor, a mixture of modern art and exposed brickwork.
