Definitely coming back to eat! Was walking through on my way to the church and all the food looked great! Staff was friendly! Only con(for the non-mums) is that it’s MOM-CENTRAL! One entire table of about eight women were all looking as if they were breastfeeding(totally fine), maybe not a first date kinda spot. Be back again… And next time I’ll review the food!

Nice little café in a good location by Putney Bridge — it’s actually a very pretty modern annex to St Mary’s Church. I liked the Aztec hot chocolate which uses dark chocolate and therefore has a strong slightly bitter taste rather than the insipid milky or watery sweet stuff you normally get. Quite a good place to work too, and in general a nice place to stop by if you have time to kill in the area.

What a cute café right next to the south end of the Putney Bridge! It’s adjacent to St. Mary’s Church and it looks like you can even enter the church through this café. The place is surrounded by large glass windows and looks open and bright even on a rainy day. We were there for late lunch and everything was delicious. Smoked salmon sandwich and sausage sandwich both came with side salad. The dressing was refreshing, probably made with olive oil and lemon. We got the last order of broccoli & cheese soup and it was very tasty, nicely spiced and not too creamy. The price was reasonable too, the sandwich & soup combo was only £5.50. After lunch, we couldn’t resist trying their pear tart in the glass case. It was so good with juicy pear, custard crème with almond flavor and very solid layered pie crust. The most amazing was their hot chocolate(I had with soya) which was probably the richest texture I’ve ever had! I will definitely come back to try more. They have scones, cakes, quiche, organic tea etc. They would be perfect for afternoon tea after a nice stroll by the Thames :)
