A healthy option on Baker Street! PUREly selfish review here, it’s about 10 steps from my office and provides a healthy, fast lunch on health-beleaguered Baker Street(SO.MANY.CHAINS). I’ve been to other outposts and enjoyed it, so even though I was sad to see short-lived(and local, sob) Nourish bid us farewell, this is a nice stand-in. If one must visit a chain, this one is good enough. Standouts: 1. The staff is very friendly, very quick and very efficient. They are on their toes, I appreciate this! 2. There are 4 or so tables outside, if you can snag one it’s a very nice treat to eat lunch on a sunny summer day. They also have a lot of seating downstairs. 3. They will make me an almond milk latte or flat white without glaring at me. I’m going dairy-free for 30 days so I wholly appreciate their willingness to serve me über-ridiculous almond milk. thankyouverymuch. Also, the coffee is good for this type of place! 4. Plenty of sides to pick up — my favorite are the small protein pots(good in a pinch!) and the courgette«pasta» with pesto. The yoghurt and oat pots are really nice too, but as I said I’ve given them up for a bit. Do give it a go though! 5. The salads are really nice — very healthy, quickly made and fresh. I’ve had the Raw salad and the Mexican, both delicious. You can add protein, etc. 6. Free still and sparkling waters for those dining in, with real glass cups. Nice touch. 7. Lots of fresh fruit. 8. Bakery treats for those really wanting to find SOMETHING to indulge in here. It does run on the pricey side but 1. It’s London and 2. It’s fresh stuff. I am willing to pay the 10 quid for a salad and side as I know it’s something that won’t try to kill me from the inside out. Welcome to Baker Street!
