This fast food place is everywhere in London! The sell lots of healthy food options and is good for sitting in or on the go. The takeaway options are slightly cheaper than the dine in options. They sell fresh sandwiches, salads, fruit, pick me up bars, coffee. It’s a affordable, convenient and tasty!

Ah, the American version of Panera. There when you need it(aka starved after a 30-minute longer than you expected tube ride), with tasty black coffee, not espresso, but coffee. The boy had the quiche and I grabbed some hot porridge with almonds, chocolate, and jam. And coffee. Keep this in mind fellow travelers when you need a quick and reliable fix.

Can be quite bust but the food is excellent with a huge choice and friendly service. Prices are great for the area.

Got food poisoning from the food, felt awful. Tasted good at the time though.

This is by far my favorite Pret out of all locations in London. Sandwiches always fresh, salads are neatly displayed and fresh, coffee always hot(and I mean HOT), and croissants are warm and tasty. I think what makes this Pret stand out among the rest is its friendly, courteous customer service. Just lovely! A friendly face is somehow hard to find in this fast-paced, bustling city. I miss this Pret a Manger. (indeed there is one barista who is just lovely — I concur with some of the other previous reviewers)

Sandwiches and baguettes are legendary. I am TOTALLY addicted to the tuna & cucumber baguette. The staff are always super friendly and ALWAYS happy and smiling. How do they do that?

As a general rule, all Pret outlets would merit a three-star rating from me. This particular outlet on Bishopsgate gets an extra star by virtue of its late opening hours and the fact that the staff are always nice and smiley whenever I go in. Yes, the food to be found here is the same as every other Pret, and is generally decent but uninspiring, and the coffee leaves quite a bit to be desired(though it’s still better than Starbucks), but, when it’s late, and you want something fairly healthy to eat, as opposed to going to the KFC next door and buying a tub of coleslaw dripping with mayonnaise and a bucket of fried chicken, Pret really is the only place to go to. All the other nearby places — with the possible exception of Wasabi in Liverpool Street station — don’t really cut it.

I love Pret! For my lunch break at work I would always get the chicken avocado sandwich with sweet chili chips and the grape and elderberry drink. It was a delicious and simple lunch that I miss as I am not currently in London right now!

It’s not often that a case of mistaken identity gets you a free cappuccino but that’s exactly what I seem to get from Pret a Manger Bishopsgate. One barista in particular swears I am a regular who works in the City and gives me the odd freebie which is very welcome. The coffee, not the presumption of city employment that is. A presumption which, considering recent events seems downright libelous. Lovely as free cappuccinos indubitably are, they’re par for the course at this particular Pret. The staff are lovely, so very friendly, and make some of the best coffee in the City. The new ham and Dijon sandwich is gorgeous; the rocket and grieve baguette legendary; and the raspberry, yoghurt and muesli breakfast pots to die for. But really this Pret’s speciality really is its expertly made coffee. Just grand.

The staff are pleasant and helpful, the shop relatively spacious for a sandwich shop. I went in to get my free hot drink using the new pret card, which they accepted with no problems(I find you sometimes get treated worse when you’re not paying) The only downside was the cup was filled so high that the drink erupted through the hole in the lid, burnt my hand and stained my coat so perhaps not a good place for take-away hot drinks! The sandwiches are nice, if a little overpriced, though!

shoreditch: pret i find the staff at this branch very pleasent, i m much more a sandwhich person and a coffee person wen on d move, this particular outlet was crowded but the staff had the time to talk to me politely make sure my needs were adhered too and dat to me was a high scoring point, the capuccino is always consistently good and d sandwichces ummm m&s is good u knw but wat pret does is it gives me a personal feel so i feel dey are better, its a not too big, but ususally crowded and wen on d move no many of us look for polite staff but to do it smoothly and swiftly with a reassurance that things were done honestly with the best service in mind is a great acheivment — bravo down der ppl. cheers.

While most sandwich chains sell fair which is pretty mediocre, Pret manages to turn out stuff that is really tasty. While it must partly be due to making the food fresh each day(in London any left is given to charity for homeless people to eat), it must also be down to good ingredients and sandwich designers who really knew how to use them. They do some fancy sandwiches(e.g. Crayfish), but even the more typical sandwiches are a cut above. For instance their ploughmans features rich-flavoured cheddar, tangy sweet chutney and salad with bite. Wonderful! They also do deserts and drinks that are just as good. Or you can get a croissant or pastry: their chocolate croissants have dark chocolate and flaky pastry. I think they can be just as heavy on the saturated fat and sugar as other sandwiches, but at least they have the taste and vitamins to go with it. While I go in Pret shops all over the place, this branch is well placed if you are passing through Liverpool Street. It’s along Broadgate towards Shoreditch nestling under the eaves of the buildings. It’s well placed to walk through to Exchange Square to eat your meal there, or there is some seating inside if you prefer.
