I’m not the biggest fan of queuing restaurants, on arrival we were greeted by a member of staff and informed us that it would be 30 – 40 minutes wait for a table. We got to wait in the basement bar for our table, but it was a bit small we were lucky enough to get a seat but as we waited more people started to arrive. We ordered two pear and fennel juices from the bar which sounded interested, but I was disappointed to find out it was a prepared juice in a bottle and it tasted a bit bland and watery. After 35 minutes we were taken to a table upstairs, the lighting was low and the atmosphere was bustling with low level music playing. We placed our order of 6 tapas dishes most of the dishes were well presented and tasty, however the lamb and pistachio meatballs were slightly disappointing as I couldn’t taste the pistachio. The dessert was also a bit of a let down we had lemon and almond cake, it looked like just a piece of sponge and had only a slight lemon flavour.

Slightly cramped surroundings but delicious food does make up for it. Hard to get a gauge of the number of dishes you need and I’m not sure I believe the amount the servers recommend — I honestly think that would have been way too much food. What I did have — a special gnocchi with blue cheese and meatballs — was delicious and my friend’s focaccia especially looked fantastic. Our server was lovely, if a little haphazard, but there did seem to be a bunch of staff members who acted a little too cool for their job. I know it’s Soho guys and so painfully cool(*rolls eyes*) but you still have to tell me where the bathrooms are…

A place where you go and wait to seat in a very uncomfortable seat, with no back support and high tables. It’s noisy, so you can’t talk with your friends without yelling. Therefore, you all stare at each other while a waiter comes with a menu. Prices are promisingly cheap, but the waiter says you have to share dishes. So you ask two dishes, stuffed olives and a mushroom risotto. It’s all very good, but portions are tiny. I don’t mean tiny for Italian standards(I know we can overreact on our portions sometimes…), I mean tiny for French standards. To make it clearer: I have paid 4 pounds for the stuffed olives portion. A portion comprised of *three* olives.(very good ones, but still…) Time to pay. One of your friends mistakes a fiver for a tenner. The manager comes and almost yells at him — «there are five pounds missing, figure it out». Your friend laughs nervously. You and your friends go home a bit hungry, with £20 less in your pockets, and you wonder if you should buy a cheap pizza in a truly Italian place on the way home. At least it’s not that noisy in the streets, so you can chat with your friends for the first time tonight.

Casual catch up over wine with a friend eventually took us here. We had to wait a little while at the bar to get a seat — very popular, even on a late Monday evening! We were quite hungry so ordered quite a few dishes! Really really good italian food! Small little plates so definitly need to order a few. Definitly recommend this place — great food and really tasty wine. Cute little italian place with very friendly staff!
