I’d like to know who the people are who make the food. They make some wickedly good stuff!
I’ve lived in and eaten dim sum mostly in Asia and the US all my life. The dim sum here is much better than most places I’ve been to in those parts of the world. This says a lot, and I do know dim sum.
Went there for a late Friday dinner. By then the restaurant wasn’t as crowded as earlier in the evening when we passed by. 2 moms with 4 kids in total. We were served and attended to with utmost civility. (Oftentimes, to get good dim sum in US restaurants, we find the places known for the worst services, so it was a surprising pampering by my standards.)

Went yesterday for a birthday treat — unlimited dimsum for £22.95. It didn’t disappoint! Had lovely time, they were very accommodating of our party and put up with 3 small children too. Would recommend the lazy dimsumday, meant we tried everything and didn’t hold back! Spent about 3 hours there. Great cocktails. Will go again. Waiter was very busy but still had time for our faffing on!

I’d been dying to go to ping pong for longest, but just like meeting brad Pitt it just didn’t seem to be happening. UNTIL YESTERDAY!!! the seats were limited so we had to sit near the dumpling steamer section… Ended up with a free facial.
I wasn’t ravenous so despite their recommendations of 5 dishes minimum, I picked three.
Let’s start with the honey glazed chicken wings. Oh My. They were delicious! I never really expect much from chicken wings but honestly they were so good. Sweet sticky and salty. Yum.
I tried their scallop and chive steamed dumplings which were so well seasoned I could’ve cry from pure joy!
It’s one of those places you spend £20 at but kinda leave with room for more. But the flavours just may make me over look those factors.

I’m a huge fan of the two Ping Pong restaurants in DC, so I had high hopes for this one in spite of the bad Unilocal reviews. Welp, should have heeded Unilocal.The service was really friendly but the food was quite sub-​par. The pork puff has always been my favorite at the US outlets but this version tasted as if it had been frozen and reheated– a real disappointment. The dumplings were nothing special and the chicken wings were small and not very flavorful. We ended up spending £50 for food for two people (no beverages) and although we were super full afterwards, the quality of the food was just not worth the money.
