PimpShuei is the rare kind of gem that directs all it’s attention to the customer experience. Both bartenders are co owners, and the bar is a reflection of their welcoming and electric personalities.
With amazing kung fu and animé graphics adorning the bar, and the arcade machines placed throughout you know that you’ll have a great time, whether sitting at the bar and enjoying great cocktails, witty banter and the in house noodles, or enjoying the arcade room.
Highly recommend a visit for either a casual drink or in a group of people looking to enjoy their night without the usual pomp that many venues suffer from.

I visited PimpShuei for the very first time on a cold November afternoon last year. My friend and I were immediately impressed with the interior and proceeded to order copious amounts of fantastic cocktails. Due to the weather the lovely barman Chuck also prepped some hot tea for us, so we wouldn’t get cold and that was the gesture that told me, this place is different, this could be family.
Fast forward several months, I have now become a regular, part of the family, the tipsy cousin no one can get rid of even if they tried. ‘The lovely barman Chuck’ is now my lovely friend Chuck and so are Slash and the rest of the fantastic crew. I celebrated my birthday at the venue in July and each and every one of my guests was impressed not only by the venue but what lengths the staff had gone to, to make it an unforgettable night.
The cocktails are of the greatest quality, expertly mixed by the highly skilled bartenders and Slash’s DAMN DAMN noodles are out of this world!
PimpShuei is a place where you can either chill out after work or go completely nuts when it turns into a party palace and everyone is on the dancefloor. I have made amazing new friends there!
Would highly recommend if you fancy a night that is that little bit different.

PimpShuei is a rare and exceptional find: a secret underground bar featuring kung fu movies and video games. The owner is warm and friendly, the bartenders do bottle-​juggling tricks, and there are occasional film screenings. There’s a «double drinks for £1 extra» special on Mondays and a «freeplay video games all night» special on Wednesday.
