I have watched Peloton & Co. go from strength to strength since it opened, starting out as just a coffee shop to offering some really tasting food offerings and, now, serving alcohol in the evenings as well. When it first opened, there were no other third wave coffee shops within a five minute walk, and it was a much-welcomed addition to the area. It was a good place to go to get an above average coffee(made with beans from Butterworth & Co. in Bury St Edmunds) and have a sit-down. If you didn’t feel like coffee, you could also opt for a hot chocolate(made with Kokoa Collection’s chocolate discs). And if you were really into cycling, you could watch a race on their big screen. Hungry? Again, not a problem. Go for the incredibly delicious Neal’s Yard Three Cheese Toastie and have it on-site. Do not have it for takeaway, as it is best eaten fresh off the toaster, otherwise, by the time you get back to wherever you need to be, it’ll have gotten soggy and you’ll find yourself wondering just how awesome it could have been if you could have eaten it hot and crispy.

Always a pleasure. I have recently started a new contract near Liverpool Street so I decided to pop in here today for my mid morning coffee. I have been here several times before and never been disappointed. I always order the skim flat white and every time I order a large they remind me that flat whites only come in one size. This morning I went nuts and decided to sample their Lamington. Deliciously sweet jam sandwiched between two pieces of perfectly bouncey sponge cake, covered in chocolate then rolled in coconut. All I can say is they nailed all four elements brilliantly! I would have liked it if there was some cream in there with the jam too, but that’s definitely a personal preference. I’ll be back for many more flat whites… and if I can’t resist, probably lamingtons too!

Had a quick coffee here and it was pretty good. Not much else to say; as a cyclist, I like browsing through fancy bike stuff, but I always wonder how these sorts of places sell enough of it to pay their undoubtedly exorbitant rent, especially with the bike supermarket Evans right across the way. But at least they accept credit cards and their coffee is perfectly fine to go or to sit outside and watch the Spitalfields Market crowd go by.

Was gobsmacked at seeing they were charging £4 for a cup of filter coffee. The server took offence at my shocked expression and told me that filter coffee is around £4/4.50 everywhere because it costs that much to get it in and it takes them so long to make. THISISNOTTRUE! I ended up having an Americano, which was good but was unimpressed with the customer service. Shop looks cool. £4 for a cup of filter coffee! Can’t get over it.

Delicious coffee, easily the best in the area. I had the granola with yoghurt and fruit compote this morning, very good, high quality ingredients, a home made compote, very very good. The sandwiches at lunchtime are Legend!

This branch of Peloton & Co is a slightly curious beast. Credible coffee offerings? Yup. A couple of fridgefuls of decent craft beer from the likes of Redchurch and Five Points? Absolutely. Bikes and bike repair? Yep, well, actually just bikes and cycling merchandise, no repairs. It’s not a biggie, just somewhat unexpected for a shop that trades heavily on cycling, from its name, to its gleaming road bikes, to its official Tour de France merchandise. There’s a new breed of cycle-coffee-craft beer joints emerging in east London, so it’s surprising that Peleton & Co doesn’t quite cover all bases, despite coming so close. Still, it’s solid in other respects. I didn’t try the coffee as I arrived too late, but the Five Points Porter I had was excellent. The staff were friendly and accommodating, setting out a table and chair despite the fact that they were 20 minutes from closing up. A large blackboard contains a list of tempting-sound wholesome food. I’d definitely return if in the area.

I am no cyclist by rights… mainly because I fall off 2 wheels on a regular basis. However myself and the lovely RayC went for a coffee in the newly opened Peloton & co in Spitalfields. We were no disappointed, the staff were super friendly and the coffee was great. We were even given little complimentary reflector badges for when we are out and about on the roads. These guys also sell a range of cycling gear for those accustomed to two wheels!
