I love Peggy’s. The lady who runs it s down to earth, chatty and friendly. Great to have something like this in Strawberry Hill, it has the community feel to the place I’m very happy to call home. Toasties are great, quite often take them to go. Also heard coffee is very nice, although I’m more of a tea drinker myself.

Lovely café right next to strawberry hill station.
It’s quite small and has a lovely cosy atmosphere.
All the staff are really friendly and remember you orders from last time as it generally has a really nice personal feel to it. I’ve had soup, sandwiches… all sorts.
Overall a really nice local home feeling café run y lovely people!
