The Saturday special of baby lamb curry is delicious and I am a bit worried there won’t be enough left for me now that I have told you! :D

They have great food, prices are not bad and youcan really relax there having a meal. However I noticed that some waiters dislike foreigners(not Asian people) and often do not bother to hide it.

UK has over 70,000 Indian/Pakistani restaurants but this place has to be one of the best. It is Pakistani food at its best. The lamb chops were fabulous, as was the Chicken Tikka Karahi. The naans are perfectly round and soft. Not sweet at all like some of the other Bengali Indian restaurants where naan is more like dessert. The place is busy most of the time. Service is prompt. They allow you to BYOB which is a nice touch. The prices are great too. Dinner for two ran us a little over 20 pounds. I also hear they are open till midnight, which is great. During my visit, my only two gripes were that they didn’t have Nihari(come to think of it, they don’t have too many beef dishes which is typical of Pakistani restaurants), and they didn’t have tea. No worries though, I don’t hold it against them. Their food is way to good and I am a fan!

Since first going here a few months ago I’ve become more or less a regular; I’m here every week or two. Its completely delicious! The prices are reasonable but the food is outstanding. As the name indicates this is northern food and the meat is excellent. On weekends they have delicious lamb on the bone(usually only in the evening) and various other dishes like nehari and paya. I believe they’ll make a whole leg of lamb for an advance/party order. You will either love or hate the ambiance because it’s mainly about large screens showing football and cricket, at least during the day and on important match days. Its otherwise clean. The maître ‘d is a ManU supporter but I guess he can be forgiven because the service is nice and friendly. Since I usually go on my motorbike(hendon is a bit of a trek for me) I don’t know about whether they serve beer but the lassis are good. This is part of the ‘chain’ including the much-frequented Lahore Kebab House in whitechapel. I would give it 5 stars if the lamb on the bone were available more often!

They have a large vegetarian menu and you can BYOB(bring your own beer) from across the road. The prices are very reasonable — you can get basic dinner from £5.50
