This Ordanance Arms was commonly know as ‘the gunpit’. It was a place for workers at the Royal Arsenal and Docks would meet. Hundreds of people were employed in the the manufacturing of artillery and gun power during the second world war. The birth place of the Arsenal football team. O’connors is the new establishment (well about 12 year old). O’connors is a friendly place most popular with the Irish community, good choice of beverages and good service. Great for St Patricks Day. You can also enjoy live sports event and regular live music bands.
