This store is the worst branch, they are always so confused and never get anything done on time. It’s been 2 months since my eye test and still no glasses. Customer service terrible. If you have the choice don’t go there.

So, after my first appointment where I stressed about 10 times that I needed a new prescription in 2 weeks I still haven’t got a prescription and gave up. I’ve been told I’m stupid and dumb and patronized like I’m a 3 year old. Apparently it takes up to 1 month to get a new prescription because it needs to be tested and trial and error and all that. Now, in that first appointment, during the 10 times I said I needed a new script in 2 weeks, why did someone not tell me? Especially since I also said about 10 times it’s my first time having my eyes checked in the UK. I’ve been wearing contacts for nearly 2 decades. It’s never taken more than 20 minutes to test a new contact prescription and go home with like a truck load for the next few months. 1 month, heck! Who has time for that? It didn’t even take that long when I first got them and had to be taught how to wear freaking contacts. Surely people by now understand that service is all about managing expectations. Don’t say I’ll get a new script in 2 weeks then completely turn around and tell me I’m stupid. Hate level: 10⁄10
