Optical Express – Harley Street

I had to take my wife to see if there was anything that could be done with her eye. We arrived 30 minuets early because we found it easy, and she got in with the first consultant in 5 minuets and no problem that we were very early.
The place was very clean and the reception staff were very courteous and helpful.
The consultants she seen were very professional and knowledgeable. All of the equipment was cleaned before they used it to do there tests and they could not do enough for her.
Very impressed all round and I would recommend anyone go here for your eye needs.

This place deservedly earns top marks as what better gift can you have than being given back your sight. Harley Street is renowned for a reputation of offering top medical care and the fact that a chain store such as Optical Express is situated in the heart of Harley Street, this place doesn’t dissapoint. You are greeted with warm staff, a homely feel to the place, comfy sofas, a TV and comforting drinks such as hot chocolate to put you at ease. After all, the thought of having laser eye surgery can be a little daunting but those worries are quickly squashed. The staff are informative and perform thorough tests to determine if you are able to have the surgery. My surgeon and the nurse was funny and made it feel like it was a day out rather than an operation. I say operation, it was more like 5 minutes, no pain and then I sat in a darkened, quiet room for a while and it was time to go home! It takes a little while for your eyes to settle but the results are going from having a high prescription, using contacts and glasses to ²⁰⁄₂₀ vision. I would highly recommend Optical Express as they use the latest technology, after all, if it’s good enough for NASA astronauts, it’s good enough for you and me. The Harley Street branch is conveniently central and has a home from home feel.
