If you’re in the mood for getting hitched and have a fairly decent wad of cash just lying about you couldn’t do much better than booking this place. This former Liberal club, now hotel & function rooms, has amazing views overlooking the Thames and the London Eye and great staff who will ensure your day flows smoothly. When we arrived we were whisked up to the 2nd floor for drinks in the bar before being invited into a reception room with aforementioned London Eye filling the window for the wedding service, then we were taken next door for canapes and champagne, ushered into the library for the wedding breakfast and then back to the canapé room which now had a dancefloor and bar. The food was great and the service was faultless. If you’re after a grand wedding with some history to the venue(Churchill used to be a member), easily reachable from anywhere in London then this is worth checking out. My only gripe is that the toilets were on another level, literally, you had to climb a staircase to get to them and after a day of effortlessly gliding from one room(glass of champagne in hand) to another this felt like too much exertion.
