Small but otherwise unremarkable convenience store, just over the road and around the corner (towards Tower Hill) from Aldgate underground station (30 seconds’ ungainly dash across the Aldgate traffic).
It sells newspapers, snacks, confectionery, tobacco and a limited range of food (including sandwiches and ice creams) and wine (among the smallest selection of wine I’ve seen in a corner shop, actually).
It has a steady flow of customers from the adjacent bus stop, and the staff are friendly enough but, as you might expect, prices are a little on the high side.
