Strange place. Mainly because the food (brunch) was very good on my two visits. Turkish breakfast but the service was really poor. Not sure why it’s so erratic in terms of staffing but I did like the food. Actually the only café I’d go to along this stretch.

Run by a cheerful family, the service they provide is loving and kind. Best coffee in High St. Decorated with an eclectic mix of lamps, very colourful and worth visiting. The only flaw, they don’t accept card payment.

I will NEVER visit here again. The proprietor started screaming at a friend of mine when she privately remarked that one of the waitresses seemed to be shouting. As we attempted to leave politely, she started to scream that we were abusing her and harassing her. Nothing could be further from the truth. As we were leaving (hungry and in shock) another lady informed us that she frequently shouts and abuses customers in this way. Absolutely appalling café and the food doesn’t look that great either.
