I’ve been here a few times now and haven’t been disappointed. The food is really fresh and flavourful, the portion sizes are good and there’s plenty of vegetables in most dishes. So far everything I’ve tried here has been delicious, I can especially recommend the Oki dishes. The only spot of bother is that their seating isn’t very comfortable and the staff is on the slow side. Other than that, it’s really great!

Spotted this place on Unilocal last week when I was looking for restaurants in Wimbledon and the reviews piqued my attention, so when I was looking for a lazy, but not all-the-way unhealthy dinner option on Sunday night, Oki won the just-eat battle. And once again Unilocalers, you have done me a great service. The food was delicious, especially for takeaway! We ordered beef bibimbap, Oki chicken noodles and chicken gyoza(which were fried and I am A-OK with that!) The bibimbap was good served in a plastic takeaway bowl, so I can only imagine it’s even better in a hot stone one. The vegetables were fresh, the rice was sticky and the beef perfectly cooked. The noodles were coated in thick sweet soy sauce and packed full of vegetables, and both dishes arrived in very generous portion sizes. I’ll be stopping by soon to eat in for sure.

Nice place to eat, plenty of space… tasty and affordable food. Fresh and interesting in design when it comes to the table. If you enjoy take away or casual dinning this is great. Inside concepts with benches seems to be the rage but not meant for ‘sensitive behinds’. Nice service but a tad expensive. Please see pic :)

Went for dinner with friends after we found out wagamamma was closed. The food here is reasonably priced! The salmon avocado roll is delicious! However the only thing that let it down, was the wait for the food and the waitress did not seem happy at all.

Potential for 5 stars but not always on its best. Bibimbap and noodle soop are amazing!

An oddity about the current economic downturn is that we’re all still eating out as much as ever apparently. This has been reflected in Wimbledon when the restaurant openings continue apace with Crêpe Affaire, Chichimanga and Oki opening their doors in the last few months Oki is run by the same owners as my favourite local Japanese restaurant Noodle Foodle, located further down the Broadway. It’s good to see them bring their brand of fresh, affordable Japanese good into the main shopping area of Wimbledon Broadway The menu is similar to that at Noodle Foodle, covering sushi, tempura, noodles and starters but with the addition of some Korean dishes. The prices are generally a pound or 2 more expensive than their counterparts at Noodle Foodle but still value for money My sister and were excited to try Oki out and we popped in for lunch after church. We were recognised by one of the regular staff at Noodle Foodle and we were the grateful recipients of one complimentary dish of fresh healthy wakame salad lent some nuttiness by sesame seeds We went with some old favourites. Dragon roll is topped with the richest, most unctuous unagi(eel) and is a mouthful of bliss. We also had some salmon sashimi and the plate had some lovely plump sweet moist salmon I like chicken karaage and it has been a notable absentee from Noodle Foodle’s menu. So, it was a lovely surprise to see it available at Oki. Little cubes of thigh meat deep fried in well seasoned batter arrived, dressed with a piquant chilli sauce As Oki offered Korean food, we felt obliged to try some and ordered a beef dolsot bibimbap. This is a Korean all in one dish with rice, beef and vegetables served in a very hot stone bowl — you can hear the sizzle as it arrives at the table. A healthy dose of Korean chilli sauce and then you mix it all together and let it cook a little. It was a good bibimbap and I was scraping out every last bit of crackly, crispy rice from the bottom of the bowl This is a most worthy addition to the dining options in Wimbledon Broadway and they also do delivery. Definitely the best Japanese at this end of town. Oki is definitley okey dokey!
