I don’t normally eat ice cream in the middle of the day, but the craving struck when I was on my way to Selfridges, and I knew Oddonos would hit the spot. The flavours aren’t adventurous and it’s certainly not the best gelato I’ve had, or even the best I’ve had in London, but it’s a solid choice. I had cookies and cream. It oddly was chocolate gelato instead of the normal vanilla like I’ve seen it most everywhere else but it was good, with lots of Oreo pieces. I got a small tub for around £2.50. I couldn’t finish it! Next time I might try a few flavours to see if I can find something excellent…

A more central location of our favorite gelateria. Just really goodie in every slurp! See my review of the Oddonno’s in South Kensington.

In the words of Mungo Jerry — «In the Summer Time when the weather is high, you can stretch right up and touch the sky». My version be «In the Summer Time when the weather is high, you can pop by Selfridges and treat yourself to some Italian gelato iceies’! Little ice cream parlour hidden at the back of the food hall and a wide selection of flavours to choose from. Bit pricey for two scoops but hey it is Oddono’s in Selfridges and it’s worth it. Yum yum in my tum tum

The strawberry sorbet here was so tasty that I came back for two days in a row. It’s light, has a creamy texture and tastes of actual strawberries. Nuff said.

Tucked away into a corner of Selfridges Food Hall, Oddono’s offers a tempting array of fresh Italian gelato. For top class Italian ice cream, the price of just over 2 pounds for one scoop is reasonable They have traditional flavours and my scoop of coffee proves that they are the European masters of coffee. Just the refreshing break for a hot day
