I recently went to OCEANS Hairdressers for BRAZILIAN KERATINE TREATMENT. I have long AFRO hair and my service was booked with CLAUDIA. I had an AMAZING SERVICE my hair is more managable, straight like I had a relaxer and the beauty is its a CHEMICAL FREE SERVICE!!! I was given all the care instructions and felt that the service was impeccable as well as proffesional. I have been qouted from several other local salons nearly £300.00 for this service yet OCEANS was so affordable I have already booked in for my top up treatment!!! AMAZING SERVICE AND EXCELLENT STAFF!!! I WOULD RECCOMEND THIS FRIENDLY WARM AND AFFORDABLE SALON TO ANYONE WITH EITHER AFRO OR EUROPEAN HAIR.

Terrible hairdresser. If you want friendly and decent customer service, go away. I did the mistake to complain about my haircut (too short and not suited to my face) and the hairdresser took it really badly. I emailed later to see if they could improve the result, did not get any reply and when I called was accused of harassing them and threatened to call the police!!! Not really what you expect when you book a relaxing time and pay for it. All I am waiting for now is my hair to grow back. I will never visit Ocean again. I had such a really bad experience and I have been really badly treated. The hairdresser even put the phone down at me. My advise is think twice before booking there.

I went here with a KGB deal so I wasn’t expecting all that much — I’ve had some bad experiences where the salon treats you differently for using the deal (so why offer it, I ask?).
Anyway, I entered the shop and I have to admit it’s not the most stylish set-​up, which had me a little worried. The staff, however, was SO nice and I was greeted with a smile and an offer to take my cardigan. I was offered a drink, I grabbed a magazine, and waited for my stylist.
As I was reading, I noticed lots of the clients talking to members of staff like they knew each other quite well, which is always a good sign! When the wonderful Claudia appeared, she was very nice and easy-​going but really listened to what I had to say. She wasn’t bored or dismissive, like some stylists, and we probably spent about 10 – 15 minutes discussing what would work, what wouldn’t, etc. To me, that’s really important and helped me feel confident about the experience.
Then it was off to get my hair washed, a Moroccan Oil treatment applied, and the cutting began. She checked in with me to make sure I liked the length and how it looked and then the blowdrying began.
I was so happy with the final product and it really lifted my spirits after a rough week. I was happy to discover their regular prices are very reasonable and they’re located near Clapham Junction, which is very convenient for me, so I will definitely be back!
I think I finally found a hairdresser in London!!!
