is an unparalleled resource and community-minded centre for London’s artist-made film community. Sound obscure? Well, it can be. Opened in 2004 as an artist-run space, no.w.here’s aim is to create«…a space where the place of the moving image within contemporary art can be explored and expanded». This mission manifests itself in a varied programme of workshops, talks, demonstrations and screenings, held both onsite and elsewhere, helmed by artists both local and international. They also have lab facilities for filmmakers and artists to develop and manipulate their own film, promoting the formation of a comprehensive community of artists united in their quest for aesthetic value and a considered approach to the artistic possibilities of the moving image.
