I was recommended this Chinese restaurant through a friend who regularly comes here, when he is down on business. A large menu is given but you can chose to go as sort of banquet menu where you can choose what you want for a set price, we weren’t greedy so just had a starter & main course. The food was passable but not the best I’ve had, toilets could have done with a little freshening up. I did notice that on the bottom of the menu that there is an automatic charge of 10% on all orders no matter if it’s a table of 1 or 10.

Like Jill A. said New Leaf is a pretty small restaurant. I got some delivery on a Saturday night I had to order without a menu so it wasn’t so easy. Just as Jill said they said it could take anywhere from 45 – 65 minutes because it was a weekend. Got my food closer to the 65 minutes I was effing starving seriously. I got the special fried rice, and chicken in black bean sauce. The food was good for the price. Most of the meat dishes are about 6 pounds or below. Food was pretty good for delivery. 3 stars because it was good but nothing too great. It is what it is. Affordable chinese delivery and take out.

New Leaf is a small Chinese restaurant who also do a home delivery service. Me and two friends ordered a delivery from here on a Friday night. They said it could take up to an hour which I thought was a bit excessive and we were starving! Well we got the food in around 40 minutes so not too bad. I ordered the Thai Style Fried Rice with Chicken, Shrimps, Cashew nuts and Pineapple 4.50 and some seaweed. Not bad but nothing special except they gave you a large portion so I could not eat it all. The seaweed was abit too greasy and expensive for 4.20. My friends sweet and sour balls 5.00 was good though and she recommends them. We also ordered two vegetarian dishes including the Chinese vegetables(Pak Choy) 4.50 and Mushrooms in Chilli and Black Bean Sauce 3.90. Both were delicious. Not bad, but I have had better. I have yet to experience a really good take away in Ealing. Any suggestions?

This is a fine Chinese place in Ealing, and a better option for a bit of quality than the many take-away counters around. It’s actually very nice surroundings if you’re eating in. The New Leaf has an extensive menu, and portions have always been large and suitably tasty. They carry a large list of wines, too, if you’re eating in. I’ve done both eat-in and takeaway here.
