New Frontiers Travel Recruitment

There are a lot of travel recruitment agencies out there, believe it or not, and this one was the worst of the lot. The gentleman I spoke to was dismissive of me being able to transition from retail to business travel, and dismissive of employment/​salary opportunities in Glasgow generally. He initially refused to put me forward for the job I wanted, but eventually did after I sent an email outlining exactly how I met every requirement for the job. He claimed he would put my name forward for several positions, and I never heard back from him, even after following up twice.
The position I originally applied for in January is *still* advertised on their website, and several jobs have come up about which he has never contacted me. Although New Frontiers does advertise jobs outside of London, I got the distinct feeling that placing people in other cities wasn’t worth the effort. Unless you’re a business or jobseeker in the south of England, I wouldn’t bother with them because they can’t be bothered to really help you.
