Very good mix of traditional Indian dishes as well as specialties from Nepal. The service was prompt and the food was delicious. Highly recommend!

A wonderful gem near Shepherd’s Bush. Nice, clean interior. Smart, friendly staff. First rate food. Best Seek Kebab in a while. A Sunday night; 2⁄3 full of singles, couples and small groups.

I thought that this Nepalese Tandoori restaurant was very, very solid. It exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely come back if I were in the area. The servers are very friendly and made our visits feel welcoming and enjoyable. Make sure to check in on Unilocal for 10% off your order, and if you make a booking in advance online you can get 30% off your order. Now about the food. I thought that the flavors at this restaurant were very on point. My sister and I both weren’t very hungry, so we each ordered a starter dish and found them to be very yummy. My sister got the Chicken Momo’s, and especially because my sister is a very picky person it means a lot that she finished her entire dish. I wound up ordering the Prawn Purée, which were basically prawns in a tomato-based sauce, all within a thin, bread-like wrap. The wrap was accompanied by a slightly sweet yogurt sauce that perfectly accompanied the prawns and wrapped the whole dish together. I definitely recommend the prawns if you’re looking for a light but still satisfying starter dish. My mom and dad both ordered entrée dishes, and the flavors were also very nice. My dad had the lamb curry, and my mom had one of the dishes that our waitress recommended from the«House Specials» section of the menu called the Chicken Lasoni. To our surprise, neither of the entrée dishes came with any sort of carb accompaniment. We were expecting rice or na’an on the side, but you have to order those separately and pay additional money for a side of rice or a piece of na’an. That is definitely one downside to the restaurant since tacking on that extra £3 to each dish does add up, especially when eating out with a larger party. I must say though, the flavors of both entrée dishes were very impressive as well. The lamb in the curry was extremely tender, and it came with just the right amount of sauce to eat the rice and na’an with. Even though the sauce wasn’t spicy at all, it still was flavorful and tasted great with the na’an. The sauce of the chicken lasoni was definitely the highlight of the meal. It was a medium-hot dish, and the amount of spice, in my opinion, was just the perfect explosion of flavor in your mouth. Definitely recommend the lasoni here, and it’s great because it can be paired with a variety of meats or veggies. We did have to wait quite a little while for our food to come out even though we didn’t order too much. It was around a 30+ minute wait, so make sure to set aside some time if you are planning to come here to eat. We weren’t in a rush, so the wait wasn’t too bothersome, and the quality of the food was worth it for sure. So long story short, my family’s visit to Nepalese Tandoori Restaurant was very pleasant, and we encountered some of the nicest waiters and waitresses that we have had on our week-long trip to London. You definitely won’t regret stopping by this restaurant if you are nearby!

Fantastic food and lovely service. We started with chicken momo and a tandoori lamb starter, both cooked well and accompanied by lovely sauces. I had the cream and coconut based curry with king prawns, which was divine. House red wine is the perfect accompaniment. Highly recommend!

This was the very first place I reviewed on Unilocal and returned after almost two years. Things were a bit dicey at first. We booked a table for 8.30 and when we arrived everyone was busy enjoying their food. No table. We stood by the small bar looking like plonkers for about ten mins until seated. No worries, these things happen. I checked in here for a 10 per cent discount, though I think they forgot it on the bill(as did I!). The food was as good as I recall, save for one dish-the Gurkha. It’s supposed to be extremely hot(I have an asbestos mouth). However the fact it wasn’t remotely that hot wasn’t the issue-rather, myself and wife both independently noticed a smokey undertaste that was well, unpleasant. We eat the chicken but left the sauce. Other than that, our starters of prawn puri and the unusual Mono(small dim sum-like dumplings with chicken or other ingredients) were good. The chicken tikka masala was also good. Service was reasonably efficient. However, three stars due to the troubling Gurkha, which I would advise to avoid.

This has got to be one of the nicest restaurants I have been to. The food was extremely tasty and cheap. They tasted hot when it said ‘hot’ on the menu. MoMo, the nepalese fish and chips, as OJ(the waiter) put it were really nice. I really like the attentive service all the staff provided. Even though we had been there for the first time we felt we knew the place for long time. Really enjoyable meal and experience. A highly recommended restaurant and an extremely satisfied customer.

The place is the perfect spot for a quiet dinner or lunch with the family. I like it that way so we can have a pleasant conversation without distractions. Food here is excellent and I will continue visiting.

Great food, really friendly staff who remembered us even though we’re not regulars. Love all the chef’s specialties. Good website for online ordering too. Its a shame its not busier as it can be a bit too quiet sometimes.

This place has probably got the nicest staff I have ever seen! The three times I’ve been here I was treated extremely nicely(even when I was simply waiting for takeaway I was given a table and free papadoms!). The choice is quite varied, although most of it is classic curry house dished. All I’ve was very nice if a tad greasy. This place is extremely cheap and has become one of my to-go places for curry.

In London mein Lieblingsinder!

I love this place. We used to live a few streets away and would eat in or order takeaways regularly. The food is beautiful, with a really good selection of dishes, and eating in the restaurant always has a good atmosphere. Definately worth mentioning is that the staff are just wonderful. Super friendly, but professional, and really make the evening.
