Ok here we go. Where do I start! One of our favourite place to have stunning italian dishes! One of out friends have recommended to us so we decided to give a try. Upon arriving, all the staff were very attentive and prompt. We were seated by the windows which was nice. We picked fried calamari and calamari alla romana from the antipasti. Both made from calamari however their tastes and flavour were different. Calamari alla romana was definitely my taste which was made with tomato purée or sauce himm yummy! After that we ordered mix leaf salad which was aMazing as well. For main, we ordered porcini as our friends recommended this. The food was done quickly and only took 5 – 10 mins for antipasti and pizzas. Alberto and Gigi, guys you’re AMAZING! You do great job. I wish this place was on my doorstep and envy those live directly next to it!

Accidentally found this place when going for a v late Saturday lunch at the Hackney Pearl around the corner, who weren’t serving food at that time of the afternoon. They kindly pointed us in the direction of Natura. and what a find! Staff are warm and friendly. You are greeted and attended to and feel properly cared about as a customer. Food: comforting, fresh, well-presented. The menu offers an enticing selection of standard Italian faves: from calamari to spaghetti carbonara to various pizzas, to tiramisu, there is something most palates will enjoy. The starter dishes are excellent value for money and demonstate how simple dishes can be done with a flair. See my photo of the tricolore salad and bruschetta. Delish! This was followed by a steaming hot plate of pasta –large, rich with flavour and unapologetic in carb count, it dared you to devour it. Looking forward to returning to get my mouth around the thin crust pizzas.

If you want Fresh, Thin, Crispy pizzas you’ve hit the gold mine. Grate selection of toppings. We tried a few different pizza and surprisingly I preferred the vegetarian pizza with grilled artichokes over the meat pizzas and I’m a big meat eater. They also do great sharing meat platters, salads etc to get you warmed up. Even though Italian based it is bizarrely run by a friendly Turkish family. But it’s a pleasure that the family who run it make you feel so welcome and that you are doing them a favour buying coming to the restaurant.(Visit — 22/04/2015 Dinner)

Great pizzas with really reasonable prices. Lovely atmosphere and table service! The dessert was a little bit of a let down? So maybe skip that. But we were given free shots of lemon cello, so that made up for it some. An unexpected treat in Hackney. Well worth a visit for the pizza and atmosphere.

Most recent pizza discovery and one of the best in a long time. With rustic interiors and being run by a family, it has the cosy, local, neighbourhoody feeling. Their pizzas are full of flavours and aromas and very generous when comes to toppings(all ingredients come from Italy). Super-friendly staff offer limoncello on the house when you pay your bill.

My boyfriend and I came here for tonight and it was lovely! Great portions for the cheap price and the limoncello at the end was a nice touch. So happy to have found this treasure! Will definitely be back

With Crate to compete with, I thought the newly opened Natura was going to struggle in Hackney Wick. However, I’d almost say the pizza is better. It’s a different kind of pizza — a little heavier in base, but you get a lot more for your money, and there’s a great variety of toppings. It’s also usually less crowded than Crate, and you’re more likely to be able to get a table, even on a Saturday evening. You usually get a free limoncello with your bill, which is a nice touch. The staff are friendly, and service is usuallly fast. They also do take away.

What a find! I decided to wait until sunday(at 2pm) to test the place, even though i noticed it during my explorations of Hackney Wick. As you can see from my tip, there’s a special lunch menu which let you choose from 4 kinds of pizza or 4 kinds of pasta. This time i decided to check the pizza quality, because in this area«The crate» is renowed for the pizza quality and as Italian i was a tad disappointed. The true test for a pizza restaurant is the Margherita: if the dough, the tomato or the cheese are not good you can bet that the other more elaborated pizzas are going to be disappointing. if you can count my stars, you may guess that the result was very positive: the pizza is thin but not too dry to become crumble-some. The cheese and tomato were good. I regretted not having tried the Tiramisu: i saw it while i was paying and the look of it was very interesting… i’ll have to try the next time! The place is really close to the overground station, so there’s no excuse. Beware large groups: there are not many sitting places, unless they have more space hidden somewhere, i think that at most 25 people may eat inside.
