Need a map? Want to have a look at where you are going before you get there? Are you online? Then you may really like this website. I do. It is super useful.
It makes its money from powering maps for business websites. So if you go to a supermarket or a restuarant website and check the storelocator it might be powered by these guys.
This means that the consumer website found at
is free to use and check out. It seems to be more well known in London, but Multimap covers almsot all of the WORLD.
Do check out the Bird’s Eye feature on here. It is different from a map or a satalite view as it is taken at a closer range and an angle which allows you to see people like ants on the ground, cars, some singage, waves in the sea and so much more.
Oh and before you go somewhere… don’t forget to print off some directions! There are directions for walking, driving that recognise postcodes, street names and even a business locater on the website. Again, it is free to print off this information.
