Michael’s Barber Shop

So as a girl I’m very skeptical with whom I trust my hair. I have a very short cut and trust me this, not every barber is good. I have had many mess up my hair. It’s even harder to trust someone in a city you’ve never been to.
Last week I sat in Michael’s chair, and he worked his magic. I have to say I don’t think I’ve ever loved my hair more. Everyone has complemented it and it makes me feel great. Not only is Michael a great barber but he’s very personable. If you’re looking for an awesome cut look no further stop in at Michael’s.
The prices are also very reasonable. Which of course is a plus. I’d like to add that Michael made sure he knew exactly what I wanted before he began, which is very comforting.
Trust me this, I’ll be back next week for another cut. Thank you Michael!

Had great hair cut 1^st time i visited the place so I came back for my second haircut to same place.
The old guy with white hair was free so I had my haircut with him.
He did an acceptable job but not to the standard I wanted or had in all my previous haircuts in same place or any other place so I politely asked him to cut a bit from one side to make it even with the other and there he goes…
«I did great hair cut for you, no no this is how your hair grows… I spent enough time with your hair, I am hungry and tired but i’ll do it for you»
I got annoyed and decided just to stop him and said «I don’t want anything anymore, thanx for the hair cut… go eat if you are hungry»
He ranted on «I gave you great hair cut, you don’t appreciate my work. I spent enough time cutting your hair… don’t come again»
Damn old man, I just wanted a little alteration… sad but it was disappointing experience and bad customer service and hence the one star.
Point of the review, don’t upset the old man and ask for anything and better off choosing different guy to cut your hair

Michael cut my hair, but before starting he asked exactly what I wanted and he made sure we were on the same page. The cut was exactly what I wanted, and I was extremely pleased with the result. The three barbers there were also very welcoming and friendly, making any customer feel comfortable. The prices were great for a college student on a budget — only £11! Definitely going back again.

Great barbershop! Short wait, three very good barbers. No baloney, no pushing of products. They ask what you want, they cut correctly, and they go asking as they go along to make sure you’re pleased with the result. Set on a quiet little street just a block of Earls Court, the experience is like getting your hair cut at a small village barber shop.
