During a rainy morning, just before a job interview, i found meze meze around the corner of the agency i was going to visit. The coffee was nice and the croissants were the real best part: so flaky, crispy and crunchy! I love them. They also have free wifi!

I walk past them almost every day, and never even went in until I told a friend to meet me at Farringdon station, and she saw this cute little place. We only got tea, but service was cheerful, and it was the perfect cure for a rainy day. Definitely better than coffee at Costa or Pret just because they’re there. Plus, free wifi!(ask for the password when you order)

Had some delicious chick-pea dahl soup here for lunch the other day. There is plenty to choose from on the menu and the food is all made fresh for you. They also had a plate of tasters outside for passers-by to try, which was a nice touch. The staff are lovely and the décor is quite funky, with wicked lampshades. I’ll be heading back here to try one of their mezze plates. Very good value for money, especially considering the prices of others in the area. You can’t beat lunch for less than 5 pounds. A real gem amongst the endless chains that seem to populate parts of Farringdon.

The wraps are amazing, and the meze platters and best of all, at a great price! Fantastic as a takeaway, eat in and they do catering delivery as well. The restaurant atmosphere is very inviting, especially with beautiful traditional Turkish décor on the walls in the dining area. It does very packed at during rush hour at lunch so reservations are a must. The service is top notch and so friendly! Especially Mehmet! The front of the house always provides a nice service, advice and even a great conversation. Oh, and try the Cappucino or the Chai Latte. Best I have ever had. Same remarks goes towards the healthy and delicious smoothies that are made fresh.

Meze meze… a bit meh on my first trip In all fairness all I had was a chicken shewarma wrap and it was… ok Ncie fresh veg, decent sauce but the chicken had a peculiar aftertaste and the whole thing could have done with a bit more zing IMHO Think I need to go back and sample some more of the food to give a more fully considered opinion Really friendly service though

I pass this place every day… uh, hang on, that’s not true, I very rarely pass it! Correction reads: This place is on my route to work and I now pop in almost every day. I grab myself a Marmite bagel and the Cappuccino that is marketed outside on a sandwich board as ‘probably the best Cappuccino in the area’. My opinion is that it’s OK, but it’s the Marmite bagel that draws me in. I am always greeted by a chirpy person who takes the orders, he smiles, says ‘good morning’, makes a joke, shouts my order to someone who prepares it with a smile. As a huge Marmite fan, my only complaint would be that I’d like it slapped a bit thicker on my bagel, but I understand others probably want the exact opposite. The food looks and tastes amazing, fresh, and reasonably priced too. Oh, and how’s this for service: the owner was having a bit of a row with the landlord about payment on the phone(nothing too boisterous) but it did mean they couldn’t use the card chip and PIN machine. No worries, ‘here is your receipt sir, please come back and pay some other time’…eh? Fantastic. And yes, I did go back to pay, I love this place!

Really welcoming café — it’ll definitely catch your attention. The staff are lovely too and everything looks gorgeous. I went for a chicken wrap, which was a very decent size. The texture was perfect, but I found it very bland. I know I’ll want to go again… I get the feeling I picked the wrong sandwich — but wish they had offered to spice it up a bit!

Omar, Mehmet and Mehmet are truly connoisseurs of the wrap — including their meze meze sauce ;) I can recommend the lamb kofte, or the sucluk is equally tasty, wrapped or in traditional Turkish bread. Just had breakfast, porridge, bagel, fruit and a coffee.

Yummy yummy yummy, I’ve got vine leaves in my tummy, and I feel like eating dip. Catering for a group of hungry Primrose Hill picnickers on a breezy Thursday afternoon? Not a problem with this delicious selection. I was always going to love Meze Meze, firstly because I lurrrrve this kind of food(and I mean lurrrrve it… picky bits of falafel and tzatziki and cous cous and springy, herby bread just get my motor running). We had a great variety to choose from including some tasty and soft veggie and meat wraps cut up into handy bitesize portions and a fabulous fresh fruit platter for afters. Everything was packaged well and was transported via a cab journey through Camden with the greatest of ease — about the same ease with which we polished the lot off in about five minutes flat. Yummers. If you need a tastebud-tingling little buffet of treats for some rustic alfresco dining or even to pack away at your desk, I’d say this is a perfect port of call.

On my first visit to Meze Meze, I stepped inside tentatively. The bloke behind the counter had a big smile for me and a lunch recommendation too! He told me to have the chicken shawarma, explaining he’d chosen the same for his midday meal. I went with it and he had it ready for me in moments. It was hard not to tuck in on the way back to my desk. My next sampling of Meze Meze came in platters which we consumed up on Primrose Hill. I especially liked the yogurt dip. Should you need catering for a work do, this one’s definitely worth considering. Overall, a solid choice in Clerkenwell.

Meze Meze is delicious delicious.(See what I did there?) I’m breaking all sorts of Unilocal code by snagging the first to review, but holy cow it was so delicious I just can’t wait! This cute independent café dished up platters upon platters of Mediterranean goodness for our cheeky mid-week picnic,(which involved one platter of tabbouleh, kisir, humus, falafel, vine leaves and cacik, one platter of various mixed wraps, and another platter of fresh fruit). When we arrived to pick it up it was hot, fresh, and ready to take out the door. Not much to complain about when you can feed 11 picky people for £50. I am so happy that this spot is just around the corner from my office… although my belt may not be.

This is a really great little café that has had a lot of work put into it since it opened over a year ago, this shows in its layout and its décor which is bright and inviting. There is a great selection of meze(these are small dishes of different cold, spicy or savoury dishes such as houmous, olives, feta salad, sundried tomatoes etc) There is also a nice selection of hot food and sandwiches on Turkish bread. They also offer an excellent range of smoothies and juices as well as coffees(try the Silk Route it’s delicious). The prices are reasonable considering it is in the City and the quality of food is very fresh and tasty. The service is friendly and efficient, the owner is extremely friendly and can usually be seen at the shop entrance smiling at passer bys and saying hello to the regulars. There is also a loyalty scheme which is a nice touch.
