Don’t be put off by the garish hot pink exterior… it belies what tasteful and charming bits are to be found inside. A warm and spicy fragrance hits you the moment you walk inside — the scent of delightful and decorative potpourri balls for sale.
Lots of elegant knickknacks and decorative accessories… scented candles, elaborately detailed wine glasses and champagne flutes, pretty little address books and journals. But perhaps what is *most* standout about M.E.G. is the collection of cards… there’s plenty of snarky and sweet to choose from for a variety of holidays and occasions — you’re bound to find something that will suit an intended card recipient.
The shopkeeper was a little curt and uptight when I was last there with my sister… not exactly what you could call friendly… but it could have just been the fact that we were yet another pair of mere browsers in these rough economic times — a reality that must be particularly difficult for these out-​of-​the-​way smaller shops.

This is a cool little gift store that sells a mix of cards and gifts, useful for when you have ran out of ideas for gifts.
The pink exterior is welcoming as is the window display of mirrors and clocks and the like.
Meg’s is situated in the heart of Victoria Park.
