A sign of what Brixton is becoming; a boutique wine shop next to a charcuterie and cheese salon! That being said, the owner here is very knowledgeable, and will recommend something to you if you’re not sure what you want. They sell some great beers too — brands you wouldn’t be able to find in your supermarket. You can drink your wine there too; on the table and chairs outside. They sell by the glass too. Lovely place this.

WOW! I wish this is my local wine shop! David was super helpful and you could tell he is absolutely passionate about wine. He offered us some great choices to go with our Thai Supper(you can basically tell him where you’re going and there is something to go with it) and then I got really excited by a very pretty bottle. Yes, i know you are not supposed to choose wine by the label, but that’s what they are for! Turns out it was an early– picked pedro ximenez that is supposed to be like a fino rather than a regular syrupy PX. Sound so bizzaro and amazing that I had to buy it. (Now safely stored to share with my mega wine enthusiast friend– even she has never heard of something like that, and I just thought I was being ignorant). Did I say I wished it was my local wine shop? Excellent wine at(what is now) reasonable prices. Thank god, no more over priced Jacobs Creek, Gallio or whatever crappy Aussie wine we had to buy out of desperation.
