Ok guys this restaurant is Lebanese not seafood. They have a competitively priced lunch time menu with two courses for £10.95 up till 5pm. The waiting staff were hit and miss depending on who came to the table. Starters chosen hummus and halloumi cheese, both good size dishes and very tasty. Main was lamb shawarma with rice, again great size and the meat was moist with a good fragrant taste. The vegetarian meze was plenty with a good variety and again very tasty. Modern clean décor with booths and outdoor seating so you could smoke a shisha pipe. Relaxed atmosphere to watch the passing shoppers and listen yo the live music. Xoxo

I completely disagree with the past reviewer about the food at Mandaloun. I’ve been to Mandaloun twice, once yesterday and another time in 2011 and the food was great.
Yesterday I ordered the lamb and okra in tomato sauce and it was great. The sauce is quite tangy, but the tenderness of the lamb had me happy! My dish definitely had flavour!
The waiter we got was very nice and very friendly. In fact I got up to talk to one of the waiters and he told me that I didn’t need to get up and that they were «happy to provide service» so next time I should just get a waiter to come over to me. It was nice to hear so I didn’t mind the compulsory service charge.

If I could give this place a negative star I would. Mandaloun has to be THE WORST restaurant I have been to in the three years I have lived in London. I tend to always look at reviews when choosing where to dine, tonight was the exception. Boy do I regret it. ALL of our food was BLAND. Not worth a penny for the quality and lack of flavor (service was up to par with the quality of restaurant).
Do yourself a favor, take your business elsewhere!
