A great little cosy pub with a huge selection of beers. It has a small decked area at the back, which could be really nice but when we went there was a bright red van parked in it. There is also an outside area at the front of the pub.
Inside the pub has a pool table, board games, cards and books. The staff are great and it’s the perfect pub to just relax and chill out or catch up with friends in.
If you like trying different beers, it has a huge selection on tap as well as bottled.
If we’re in the area, we’d visit again.

There is a wide range of guest ales all kept and served to a high standard. There is an impressive collection of lagers and an excellent kitchen that provides inexpensive Thai food. This is a pub that provides for the discerning drinker who is not concerned with flashy fixtures and fittings.

What more can I say, it’s a cracking Real Ale pub that has to date served in excess of 2,000 (THOUSAND) guest ales, ciders, perry’s and lagers. Yes, it could do wirh a bit of brightening up, but it’s clean, comfortable and the Thai food is spot on. They also have a bar billiards table, something that more pubs should have.
In short, unless your first date is a massive fan of real ale, this is not the venue for a first date, but if you want good beer and a pleasant and friendly atmosphere, you won’t go far wrong with a visit to The M&C in Brentford.
