Came to study printing here for 6 weeks in the summer (more like 6 days), once a week! Enjoyed the tour of the school and the many labs! If the LCC wasn’t in Elephant & Castle, I don’t think I’d visit this part of town. From our classroom we had a lovely view of London Eye! The administrators were very welcoming to us! Hopefully our college does an exchange with them.

The location is rather grim and the University does have a good reputation and vast alumni bolstering it’s reputation. As a current student there I would advise any potential student to have good initiative skills as they style of learning is different. You will be provided with tools but it is you who has to learn how to use them.
This either works well for some or not at all.

I liked the graphic design and illustrations I saw framed on the walls. I recommend this school. I studied letterpress here but would get lost trying to get through the market from the Tube. The cafeteria serves many pork dishes so I would just get chocolate or crisps from the machine. The chair of graphic design is a nice man.

When I worked in PR I used to catch the bus to work every day past the London College of Communication (née the London College of Printing) and wish that I was en route there instead. Two years later I was.
Having graduated from the LCC earlier this year I have nothing but glowing things to say about this progressive, cutting edge and above all affable institution.
Its staff are incredible, its resources fantastic and the Elephant and Castle campus, despite its somewhat dodgy location and exterior is blessed with a beautifully modern interior replete with weekly changing exhibitions.
OK, it’s an ex-​polytechnic but the London College of Communication’s extraordinary alumni should put paid to any snobbery about its beginnings. I truly cannot recommend the London College of Communication highly enough.

The London College of Communication is the largest college out of the University of the Arts London with around 9, 000 students. LCC attracts wide range of talented students from all ages, backgrounds, bringing in a real mix of cultures. The staff are highly professional and are passionate about what they do and teach.
The university is split into four schools: School of Media, Printing and Publishing, Creative Enterprise and Graphic Design. One can do courses in such things as 3D Design, Interior Design, Film, Media & Cultural studies, Photography, PR and Publishing.
The unfortunate aspect of studying at LCC is its location in Elephant and Castle, which is not the most attractive or welcoming of places.

Great new building, big, brilliant space and equipment. Whoever wants to do anything in the film or publishing should definitely go there. Downside is location, quite rough and not totally central.
