Wide range, but again, like most Chinese buffet here, it’s more of British-Chinese style. Not so authentic. And… they don’t serve tap water! This is a first time.

Dirty, greasy, stomach churning garbage. To put it simply AVOIDATALLCOSTS. Don’t listen to reviews that describe this place as ‘mediocre’, because it’s nowhere near that good! Seriously, the beef in black bean sauce was the first thing I tasted, and was almost my last. NASTY! My partner and I worried for hours after this that we might get sick, as our stomachs were churning. There are plenty of other Chinese buffets close to this place that are miles better. I frequent China Town a great deal, and love many of the restaurants there. This eatery was chosen by my partner(slap up side the head!) That won’t happen again! LOL. Little Wu is just a nasty tourist trap run by uncaring, unscrupulous people out for a quick buck. Terrible!

This place is a much better Chinese buffet than some of the ones I’ve been to up here in Glasgow, but I still don’t rate it very high. I stopped in here for dinner last night by chance. I was actually heading to Honest Burgers on Mead Street, but the smells of Chinatown won me over and so I came in here as it appeared to be the only place with tables. I can see why. Note: just incase you don’t bother reading the menu, a 10% service charge will be added to your bill. Cheeky. The buffet was meh at best. The chicken satays were delicious, but the spicy pork, rice and chicken balls I had on my plate were all dry and a bit flavourless. The staff were really unhelpful, which was what annoyed me the most. The waiter, who obviously didn’t understand my Scottish accent, took away my half full plate when I went to the toilet. I was peeved when I came back, but didn’t bother arguing as I didn’t see a lost-in-translation argument going anywhere. If no where else in Chinatown has available seats, pop in here if you’re really hungry.

This isnt as bad as most Chinese buffets, the price is a little cheeky with the mandatory 10% service charge, but it’s OK, not good, but not barfworthy either. If you are just passing, which you most certainly would be as you’d have to be mad to have selected this place as a venue and travelled here then I suppose, in a pinch, you could eat here. But really… why, there are many better places in Chinatown, it would be easy to do a lot better and hard to do a lot worse.

Arrived at the place and was told to sit down on the high seats. We decided to take the buffet, when we started to take food, the waiter seated somebody else in our seat. When we sat down, there were only one set of cutlery. When getting up for a second plate, they removed the cutlery and didnt replace it. THe food was also heavily overloaded with onions and other vegetables. The Beef and BBQ Pork was virtually non-existent. Had to get up and pay as the waiter didnt come to our seats. When paying, they demanded a 10% service charge, even for the Buffet. I asked the waiter why, and all he said was«Because the window says so». He didnt argue that he provided a respectable service or even apologise for seating other customers in our seats, removing cutlery or not asking for drinks. Disgrace, wouldnt go here again.

I was reluctant to review this place, because it’ll mean that there’ll now be a queue for Little Wu’s when we’re looking for a pre/post drink meal to line the belly! Don’t let the tourists and buffet put you off… I’ve been living in London for almost 10 years, and can honestly say this place is a real gem and excellent for a cheap and cheerful meal(all single dishes are £3.55). The portions are also very generous. Best dish on the menu is the Roasted Duck with Ho Fun Noodles. Sweeping statement, but this is much less fatty, and would give Four Season’s duck(dubbed the best in London) a run for their money. The braised pork belly with rice is massive and very tasty too. A meal with a cup of tea for under a fiver… Bargain!

Great place, the buffet is in fact 7.80 £ with VAT and the drinks are not as expensive as in others buffets. Dishes are varied and nice. The menu looked fine and pretty cheap. A place to go !

Bargain Chinese food at all times of the day. Go for the £3.55 dishes on the menu, they are good satisfying portions and the same price all day. That means you can have a really good dinner for a fiver here!

If you are really hungry, you can eat here but the buffet was too greasy for my tastes. I go to chinatown a lot, as I work near there. This place is okay for anyone who doesn’t mind fairly anglacised Chinese food.

I wouldn’t recommend the buffet. I mean it sounds like a good deal right and it has all of your favorite Americanized-Chinese dishes all for £6.50…but don’t be fooled. That buffet is pathetic! My 3-star rating is actually for the set dishes at a rate of £3.55. The barbecue duck ho fun soup is quite satisfying. There is a fair amount of duck, noodles, and broth for a reasonable price. I suggest ordering the ho fun soup entrees instead of going straight for the buffet just because your nose tells you to!

Little Wu is located right on the edge of Chinatown, no doubt positioned to catch passing trade as people wander down Shaftesbury Avenue to and from Piccadilly. Its main selling point is the price — £6.50 for the buffet or there are one plate dishes that you can order for £3.55. The buffet covers the most commonly ordered dishes in Chinese restaurants such as sweet & sour pork and the food is actually quite nice if you can catch it when it has been freshly delivered rather than when it has been under the warming lights for awhile. The one plate dishes include various noodle dishes and rice with roasted meats. The sting in the tail is a 10% service charge, even for the buffet but at these prices, it’s more of an irritating sting rather than a major pain.
