Lesley Craze Gallery

Clerkenwell Green is quite a haven for arts & craft in London with both the Lesley Craze Gallery and the Craft Central buildings nearby. The Gallery focuses on a wide variety of inspired jewellery and textiles with an equally wide variety of prices (some pieces are very expensive). Nothing in the Gallery is run of the mill. All the pieces are made by artists/​artisans are far from run of the mill. If you like original and unusual pieces (both in terms of shapes, sizes, materials used, etc), then this is for you. The space is lovely also –spacious and light so one is free to properly admire things. However, I must admit that the staff is always rather cold and standoffish, which can come across as snooty. Maybe they’re just being polite, I don’t know, but they’re my least favourite part of this gallery
