I found out about Les Deux Amies at a festival, where they were making crepes. And although I do not often crave crepes, they smelled so good and looked so tasty, I got one.
Easily, best crêpe I’ve had in the city. Handsdown.
They’re simple, well made, sweet, tasty, warm, everything you could want. Especially on a winter’s day when it is cold. There is nothing like one of their crepes.
Later, they actually reached out to me to see if we could work together. They came to one of my Unilocal events and were incredibly easy to work with, friendly, got there on time, set up an amazing crêpe set up and kept the line moving. Fast. They worked no stop for about three hours and I was amazed they had the energy.
I’m working with them again soon. I’ll also know I will buy crepes from them again soon. Because they are solid, seriously solid, no matter what way you do something with them.
