YESSSSS I imagine this is what Heaven looks like in some parts. Their slogan is «everything but the dress» and they ain’t shittin. Shoes and accessories abound! There are two levels to the shop, and it’s overwhelmingly shiny and bright and reflect-y(there are mirrors everywhere, it kinda freaked me out a couple times actually) and basically sensory overload for the shoe-and-handbag-obsessed such as myself. For the quality of the items here, I actually found the prices to be within my expectations too. I needed a shoe store to recharge my travel juju, and we happened across this one just in time. I left feeling rejuvenated once more.

Oh Kurty Kurty Kurty how you tease, how you seduce. I can never just walk past you, you pull me in like a magnet, my yearning for you is just so strong that before I know it I’m there at the shoes — looking, touching, wanting. This shop is just sexy. Everything about it is sexy — the glass display shelves, the lighting, the colours, and… of course… the shoes. OHHH the shoes. They are pricey, I mean for me buying a pair of Kurt Geiger shoes would be a real treat and something I don’t get to do as often as I’d like. They have just brought out a new range of accessories that are also damn fine. Oversized colourful leather clutch bags, gloves, hats, scarves and some seriously delicious leather purses. Oh Kurty — MARRYME!

If high-end footwear is your poison and you find yourself on a British high street chances are you’ll fall in love with Kurt Geiger. Started by Austrian Kurt Geiger in London in the swinging sixties, Kurt Geiger is a luxury footwear brand which also stocks designs by brands such as Marc Jacobs and Chloe alongside collaborations with British design stalwarts like Erickson Beamon. Geiger’s own-brand shoes are beautifully made, consistently on trend and, predictably, very, very expensive. Heels will set you back upwards of £150, ballet pumps a hefty £90 and boots anywhere in the £300 region. If you like your heels very, very high and don’t balk on spending a few weeks rent on a pair then visit Kurt Geiger, I promise it will be love at first sight.
