Kingfisher Medical Centre

Sometimes it is unfortunate that unless you are able to pay for your health care on a private basis, your area of residence determines which surgery you can register with. Having recently moved, I had to leave my regular and much trusted doctors surgery and register at the Kingfisher Medical Centre which is in my new catchment area. On going in to register, I found the receptionist to be very abrupt and rude and was quite taken aback at this as the surgery was empty and it didn’t seem as though she was under pressure.
On the positive side, the doctors are good and very efficient which is the important factor. I was just very disappointed at the first impression as her manner was simply unacceptable and detracts from what is a medically, a very good surgery.
