Looks like I’m in the minority looking at the other ratings and reviews but there’s something I find a bit weird about this place. The bar looks good and is stocked up with a good selection of alternative beers and a nice cocktail list. Bar service is usually painfully slow though. Décor is just too fake for my liking. Seating arrangement is better now than when it first opened but something about it combined with the décor reminds me of a Disney canteen take on a theme. Anyway the crowd is fine and straight down the middle. Groups seem to keep to themselves, again maybe because of the linear arrangement of the floor. Food has changed since they first opened and focusses on burgers now, which we’re served on ridiculously small plates but I hear that’s changed. The cheesy chips(frozen fries with some dried melted factory cheese on top) were a joke for the price. It’s a nice alternative to the usual pubs on KHR, still seems like it’s trying to find its feet though.

I had brunch here — it was very average. You have to order at the bar, which isn’t so much of a problem, except we were only told after 20 minutes of sat waiting for our order to be taken. I had eggs benedict — the eggs were over cooked and the sourdough bread was rock hard! Price wise, it was pretty reasonable and for £15 extra, you can have bottomless prosecco or bloody Mary’s, however I felt you get what you pay for here. I love the cocktails, so would come back for cocktails, but wouldn’t rush back for the food

Iron works is a great bar. Nice staff, attentive and knowledgeable. Great craft beer. Others in my group said the cocktails are great. This is Kilburn but you feel like you could be in central or East London — great vibe. It gets five stars for the quality in the location. Food is apparently delicious, though I didnt have any myself. If you’re looking for good cocktails and a very good selection of beer you can’t go wrong with the Kilburn Iron Works. Highly recommended.

These guys love what they are doing and they always nail the details. Brunch is amazing and their cocktail recipes have been fine tuned so that you know you couldn’t make anything this good at home.

Not quite what I expected, but delightful nonetheless! Though the décor is nice and the place is very clean, it’s a laid-back, order at the bar style pub. I was impressed by their TWO kinds of veggie burgers. It’s almost unheard of for a vegan/vegetarian to have multiple choices at a regular pub! They even had an aubergine taco as a special last night(although aubergine is the vegetarian option«it food» of the moment and I’m growing tired of it). I had the Hanky Panky burger sans cheese and it was delish! Don’t order it on a date though, it crumbled and ended up all over the place. For the cocktail-inclined, I would recommend getting there before 8pm, when Happy Hour ends, for 2 for £10 cocktails. Our bartender’s charm topped off a satisfying and enjoyable evening.

Great vibe inside with late night DJ and awesome selection of real ales. Craft and American. Great bar staff let you try before you buy. Was here at 11pm on a Friday. Easy door control and free entry. Good so far

Fabulous craft beer selection which changes regularly though a selection of London favorites stay in place. Good bar good, lovely staff and a nice atmosphere round out the lovely location. Not the cheapest of places but worth the cash.

Saturday night — upbeat atmosphere, decent background music from DJ, an electronic mix of funk and some genres I’m not familiar with, appropriate tempo and volume. Friendly bar staff, great range of spirits and outstanding cocktails.

I love this place. I remember being in the same room many years ago at 2am when it was powers, and this transformation into beer cocktail and meat joint is simply superb. When talking with the manager Adam(who also runs their twitter) he said that they noticed that most other bars /pubs in Kilburn /West Hampstead were doing the same thing, and to be successful they really wanted to stand out, be different, stand for something. And they’ve succeeded and will be, I hope, a huge hit. Any bar that serves meantime on tap is a hit for me, and the cocktails are expertly made.(£9 for a whisky sour? C’mon!) I’ve now been several times, and last night ate there. The wagyu beef burger is out of this world. Exemplary chips, and a coleslaw that has the right balance of crunch and creaminess. It’s still a bit empty during the week but don’t expect that to last, this is a first class joint. To top a great evening off, I had a smoky manhattan. The liquor came in a bottle, topped with smoke, for me to pour ‘when it is smoky enough for you’. Sublime. They’re now installing huge copper tanks to ensure your beer is brewery fresh, and adding another pump to the bar — apparently gets VERY busy at weekends and I am not surprised.

A fine addition to Kilburn High Road and a good place to compliment the NLT over the road. Great selection of craft beers, both in bottles and on tap and some pretty inventive cocktails. The music was also a good mix of indie stuff. Oh and they have superb fire extinguisher beer taps!
