The ambience here is perfectly fine, straightforward and functional, not luxurious. I arrived on time for my appointment. There was no one at reception, but after standing there for a bit, the lone hairdresser acknowledged my presence. He was with another customer and asked me to sit down. What he didn’t mention was that he was going to be another half hour finishing the other customer’s hair. He just let me wait. It was a good thing I had left 1.5 hours for a 1 hour appointment or he would not have finished on time(and he only spent 40 – 45 mins with me) So the good thing — the conditioning treatment left my hair super soft. And now the rest. When he came to do my hair, he was very haphazard. He took more off than I asked for and it was a pretty bad cut, such that a friend at dinner commented on how choppy the cut looked(which wasn’t the look I was going for, let’s say). When I commented on the cut at the end of the appointment, he just told me that if he tried to correct it, it would look even less like how I wanted it to. So helpfully, he didn’t even try. I picked this place as I had another appointment nearby, and had my hair cut here on a special offer Groupon voucher, so my experience may vary from a full paying customer. Be warned.
