Daughter and I had cod and chips. Both were yummy. Not amazing but good. Wife had mussels and said they were outstanding. Service was fine. Place is cool. Nice carry away business.

‘Let’s go for fish and chips…’ Eugh, my pants are kinda tight these days and a portion of greasy batter isn’t going to help that. Not to worry because Kennedys is not your standard chippie. This is actually one of THE best fish and chips places I’ve ever been to. ‘Aye, it’s a chipper, Jim, but not as we know it’. First of all, there’s lovely seating inside and out! So we ate under a starry sky. Secondly, there’s table service and a friendly chip shop gentleman will come and take your order. He will even make sure you get half-mash, half-salad and then just give you a giant portion of everything anyway. Third: the choice! They have a big menu of all different kinds of fish, grilled, chargrilled, baked and fried. It’s amazing. I had the halibut steak and my friend had chargrilled skate with capers and lemon butter. They even have meat, for your non-fishy eaters. The portions are huge! You can also choose your carbs, from chips, to creamy mash, to new potatoes. I’m totally taking my father when he comes to visit, he would love the non-greasy batter options. My only complaint is that they drown the salad in dressing, was way too much for me. You get coleslaw too. Basically just bring yourself a tupperware box because you might need a doggie bag. Little known fact: This is considered one of the best chippies in London, all the cabbies go there and you know they are in the know. Now you are too ;-)
