A generic corner shop and newsagents, with an off-​licence. Lots of different sorts of vodka and tins of Polish lager, don’t bother trying for a bottle of good Rioja or vintage Champagne. Sells Oyster top-​ups and theoretically travelcards too, although they run out of the blanks frequently enough that I have pretty much stopped asking. Fruit and veg is on offer if you’re desperate for an emergency onion or red pepper. I’d walk five minutes down the road to Maryland if I were you, it always looks a bit tired.
