Oh how I love this store! If I could, I would have a mega shopping spree in here as there are always tons of gorgeous clothes, especially dresses, in here. They also have a great stock of funny greetings cards, books and jewellery which are all wonderful gifts as they differ from the norm. Get some Joy in your life today!

I love a Joy. Greenwich was my first meeting with the novelty gift/fashion chain. I always pop in and spend ages looking around. I’ve never bought anything there though. Bit pricey.

I like this shop. In fact I love this shop. It is full of fun funky clothes and cool little books and lots of odd stuff that you really want to kit yourself and your house in(and maybe everyone else you know!). However, as much as I love to look around this shop — that’s all I really do, look. Then I go on to amazon etc and find everything I love for half the price, and normally buy it. I also find it odd that there is a student discount only Monday-Wednesday. And even though the staff look cool, I find that they group together and do not like to be disturbed, and therefore are not very helpful or even very nice when you talk to them.

Perfect place if you want really girly, vintage style picks away from the cookie-cut high street clothes. They are really frikkin overpriced though– I’ve gone in a handful of times fallen in love with a dress but then looked at the price and left it in the shop fondled but un-bought. They’ve got a nice range of kitsch homeware tat and novelty gifts though which are much more affordable. You know the drill, pretty kitchen utensils with 1950s pin up girls, coffee table books, gifts you will LOL at for a day and never actually use. All that good stuff. Certainly a pretty shop and one of Joy’s nicer branches, reflective of the boutiquey style of the area.

I stumbled on to Greenwich by way of boat tour and had no freaking idea what the ‘eff is in Greenwich, and that I had until five p. m to get back to the dock to head back up the river to where I started. Anyways, I’m staying in High Street Kensington and there’s lots of chain stores I can find back in the U. S which is a disappointment since I’m looking for ultra cute/unique finds to take back to L. A /O.C. As I was wondering about Greenwich I saw the name on the outside and thought I’d get a quick peek at it and loved it. I bought like four random cards(these are funny and I’ve yet to see them in Cali) and almost bought two coats here, but I’m still on the hunt and have two more days to do so(but I have a feeling I’ll end up making the long boat trip back down there before I leave). Definitely a store to check out with some cool/cute finds.

If I need a pretty dress, this is where I come. Sure, sometimes it’s not cheap.(Nothing in Greenwich ever is!) But here you get unique clothes that are realy beautiful. That said, just because they look pretty and are expensive, it doesn’t mean the quality is wonderful. I spend a fortune in here. It’s a great shop with wonderful things. A trip to Greenwich wouldn’t be the same without it.
